Vivo V15 series with true full screen, pop-up selfie cam, and triple cameras now in PH!

Vivo has just formally made two powerful mid-rangers official in the Philippines, the V15 and V15 Pro. Both are packed with true full screens, pop-up selfie cams, and triple cameras.

To make the full screen design possible, Vivo used the pop-up camera system to cleverly hide the selfie camera. It will pop-up when you open the selfie camera or do the face unlock and it will disappear when not needed.

Vivo V15 key highlights

Vivo V15 is the more affordable between the two. But, it is the bigger device with a 6.53-inch Gorilla Glass 5 protected IPS panel. It also has a pretty crisp FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution at 403 ppi.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the capable 12nm 64-bit Helio P70 octa-core processor with Mali-G73 MP3 GPU. It is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage It runs with a big 4,000mAh battery with Dual Engine fast charging solution as well.

At the back, it has 3 cameras. It goes with a 12MP f/1.78 primary sensor + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens + 5MP f/2.4 depth w/ PDAF, AI, and LED flash.

For selfies, you will find a massive 32MP f/2.0 Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor.

True full screen display

Vivo V15 Pro is the higher-end phone. It is packed with 3D curved glasstic back with striking colors. It comes with a smaller Gorilla Glass 5 protected 6.39-inch display but with nicer Super AMOLED panel with an improved In-Display fingerprint scanning technology.

Inside, it sports a faster processor as well. You will find the 11nm 64-bit Snapdragon 675 AIE octa-core processor with Adreno 612 GPU. The PH version will also get 8GB of RAM. It is obviously bigger than the 6GB RAM of the Indian variant. Like there regular V15, the V15 Pro also has 128GB of expandable storage. It is powered by a 3,700mAh battery with Dual Engine fast charging solution via micro USB.

Vivo V15 is priced at PHP 17,999 while the V15 Pro retails for PHP 23,999.

Both will be available for pre-order from February 21. Pre-order for the V15 is until March 21. Pre-order for V15 Pro is until April 11, 2019.
