It features a big 6.2-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with In-Display fingerprint scanner and 91 percent of screen-to-body ratio and 7nm 64-bit Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor with Adreno 640 GPU and Hyper Gaming mode.

It highlights 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage, and 3,600mAh battery with 24W mCharger. Meizu claimed that it can charge your phone from 0 to 60 percent in just 30 minutes. Meizu also said that users can expect up to 6 hours of gaming with its AI optimizations

Gamers will be happy to hear that the 16s features Meizu’s new Hyper Gaming mode which provides smoother graphics performance while consuming less power.

Behind, it goes with a 48MP f/1.7 Sony IMX586 sensor with OIS and a secondary 20MP f/2.6 Sony IMX350 wide camera. For selfies, it has a 20MP camera with HDR and an improved portrait mode.

Of course, it also goes with WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual-frequency GPS, and Android Pie OS with Flyme 7.3 skin. Meizu also said that it has the mEngine 3.0 vibration motor for a more immersive tactile experience while playing games.

Meizu 16s measures is 7.6 mm slim. Not bad for a phone with 3,600mAh battery. It will come in carbon black, pearl white, and phantom blue colors.

Price and availability

The 6GB RAM/128GB ROM model retails for CNY 3,198 (around PHP 24K). The 8GB RAM/128GB ROM is priced at CNY 3,498 (around PHP 27K). The top-end model with 8GB RAM/256GB ROM is priced at CNY 3,998 (around PHP 31K). 

The phone will be available starting April 28 in China.
