Huawei updates P30 and P30 Pro, now with Dual-video mode in the Philippines

First announced a week ago in China, Huawei's highly-anticipated Dual-view video camera mode update is now available in the Philippines.

Huawei P30 and P30 Pro users may now update their phones to EMUI 9.1 B153 version with the Dual-view video camera mode.

Dual-view will allow users create split-screen videos by simultaneously using the main cam of the phone and the zoom lens. It will show two perspectives at once on the screen.

The left window will show the 2x zoom video mode with up to 15x total zoom. The window at right shows the perspective from the main camera with wide field of view.

Basically, the main purpose of this feature is for users to be more creative with videos.

Top features of the dual-view mode in the P30 and P30 Pro include:

• Capturing a wide view with more of the background and surrounding objects
• Simultaneously zooming in on desired subjects via the split screen 
• Shooting two different angles, panoramic and close up, at the same time
• Ability to adjust the magnification level
• Taking artsy and creative shots for a vivid recollection of special moments

To update, just go to the settings of your phone and select software update.

There is no option to use the ultra-wide mode yet. But maybe, in the near future Huawei will allow its users to use the ultra-wide lens with the zoom or the ultra-wide lens with the main camera.
