Huawei P30 Pro's latest software update allows dual-view camera mode

Huawei P30 Pro gets another software update and this time it has now a cool, dual-view camera mode.

This feature was already been advertised in its launch, but only now it gets to reach the end users. The EMUI 9.1.0.153 update is now available in China only but will soon be available in major regions.

Basically, this dual-view camera mode allows users to take two stacked videos next to each other. One taken with the primary camera, and another with the zoom camera. It's like taking a normal and wide-angle video at the same time.

The following is the list of updates the Huawei P30 Pro is getting:

Camera

• Adds Dual-view mode to Camera, allowing you to view the panoramic and close-up video images while recording.
• Adds Charming portrait mode to Camera, allowing you to take portrait photos with more appealing blurring effects.

Huawei Vlog

• Automatically generates highlight reels, applies effects templates, and creates MVs.

Security

• Integrates Google security patches released in April 2019 for improved system security.
