V15 Pro back design

Vivo V15 Pro has a premium-looking glossy polycarbonate plastic body with a glass-like finish at the back. The Samsung Galaxy A70 is made out of a glass-like polycarbonate material as well.

Galaxy A70 back design

In terms of build, it is pretty much similar except for presence of Gorilla Glass 5 in Vivo V15 Pro. Both phones comes with gradient color design at the back.

In the looks department, the design of the back is technically a tie but the notch free front of the Vivo V15 Pro puts it ahead a bit.

Vivo V5 Pro

Display - The Vivo V15 Pro has a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED screen screen Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also has an FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 at 403 ppi.

Samsung Galaxy A70, on the hand, has a hige 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED screen with a 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution as well at 393 ppi. No mention of Gorilla Glass protection though.

Vivo V15 Pro has no notches thanks to its pop-up selfie camera. The Galaxy A70 has a taller cinematic screen that is brighter and has more contrast.

Specs - For performance, Vivo V15 Pro has a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 675 octa-core AIE processor, Adreno 612 GPU, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of expandable storage and a 3,700mAh battery with Dual Engine fast charging.

Galaxy A70 AnTuTu

Samsung Galaxy A70 has the same processor and GPU, 6GB of RAM with 128GB of expandable storage, and a huge 4,500mAh battery with 25W Super Fast Charging.

The Vivo V15 has 2GB more RAM, but the Galaxy A70 has a bigger battery and faster charging technology.

Both also comes with speedy 4G LTE connectivity and dual band WiFi.

Cameras - The Vivo V15 Pro is equipped with a 48MP f/1.8 sensor + 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide lens + 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor. It also has PDAF and LED flash. It also has a 32MP f/2.0 Samsung ISOCELL GD1 selfie sensor with AI and screen flash.

Triple-cam of A70

Samsung Galaxy A70 has a 32MP f/1.7 main sensor paired + 8MP f/2.2 ultra wide angle lens + 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor with AF and LED flash. It also has a 32MP f/2.0 selfie sensor.

In terms of main camera specs, the Vivo V15 has a bigger 48MP main camera sensor while the Galaxy A70 has 32MP only. Other aspects of the triple camera setups are close to identical.

For selfies, they are tied with 32MP f/2.0 sensors. The Vivo V15 takes a bit of a lead for placement since it has a pop-up camera.

Other features - Both Samsung Galaxy A70 and Vivo V15 Pro has In-Display fingerprint sensors and face unlock tech. The Galaxy A70 has a USB-C port though while the V15 Pro has micro USB still.

This one is a close fight. Both the V15 Pro and Galaxy A70 has advantages of their own that balances out the match up.

Galaxy A70 could be the one for those who need a phone with larger screen and battery capacity. V15 Pro could be the phone for those who want a notchless display with more powerful camera hardware.

 It could go either way depending on what you need.
