Huawei seeds another update to improve P30 Pro's camera

After the first camera optimizations and Dual-video mode update, Huawei is currently rolling out a new software upgrade to further improve P30 Pro's photography game.

The new upgrade (9.1.0.161) comes with 316MB in size. It was designed to improve the photo quality and make colors appear more natural and authentic.

Better cameras than ever

Based on Android Authority's before and after images, P30 Pro's camera now has better white balance, and contrast. They also said that the color error delta falls from 3.2 pre-update to just 2.48 following the update.

The Huawei P30 Pro’s camera update makes it an even more reliable and accurate shooter. 

The update also fixed an issue with selfie videos and lockscreen notifications when you're using a dynamic wallpaper.

The update is rolling out gradually. It may time a while before reaching your region. To check if you have the update already, go to the settings of your phone, click system, and tap software update.
