At the showcase of Sharp's 2019 product line in the Philippines, the Japanese multinational company said that they are planning to launch the AQUOS Zero in the country in Q4 2019.

A Sharp phone in PH soon?
As a quick recap, Sharp Aquos Zero highlights an IP68 water resistant body made out of magnesium alloy and aramid fiber. Sharp said lightest 6-inch phone in the market at 146 grams.

In front, it uses a Gorilla Glass 5 protected 6-inch OLED display with QHD+ 2292 x 1440 resolution. Inside, it runs with the Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 3,130mAh battery capacity.

Behind, it uses a single 22.6MP f/1.9 camera at the back and an 8MP selfie shooter. It also goes with a fingerprint scanner behind, 4G LTE, and Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box.
Other details and pricing wasn't revealed yet, but it means that Sharp will enter Philippines's ever-competitive smartphone market at the end of the year.
