The material used is mostly ABS plastic for the body and the earbuds. The body of the in-ear earphones has a long tail for the microphone. Then it has soft rubber tips in two more extra sizes.

Its overall construction feels quite good, but do not expect it to feel as premium as the Galaxy Buds. I also don't like that its case and body are prone to fingerprint smudges. Fortunately, it is not that prone to scratches. For the price, it is just fine.

The case is quite handy at 87 x 37.5 x 33.5 mm. It weighs at just 49 grams. The body of the in-ear earphones measures at 43.5 x 22 x 18.8 mm.

The rest of the features

Comfortable to wear design
Comfortable to wear design

The earphones are quite comfortable to wear overall. I just had a tough time getting the seal that I want using the stock eartips. But when I used my personal proprietary tips, viola, it blocks outside noise very well.

Using the earphones is quite easy. Actually, all you need to do is just open the case, get the earphones, check if its LED light is blinking, look for EB70 in the Bluetooth setting of your phone or any other music player, and click it to pair.

Before connecting you will hear a voice prompt stating that it is ready to pair. Once connected, it will say that you are connected already. It will also tell if you are using the left or right earpiece.

It uses Bluetooth 5.0 so we find its connectivity to be as stable as the JOYROOM JR-T04S. It is stable up to around 10 meters away from the audio source. It also has decent reconnection speed and its overall.

The left and right earbuds also have touch-sensitive keys. Press once to play or pause, press left twice for next track, press right twice for previous track, press and hold left to decrease volume by one grid, and press and hold right to increase volume by one grid.

For calls, press once to hang or answer calls. Press and hold for 1 second to reject calls.

It can also access Google Assistant by double-tapping either the left or right key. It isn't just that responsive versus other higher-end TWS earphones.

It doesn't have a sensor for stopping audio when you remove an earpiece though.
Decent sound!
Decent sound!

Moving to my audio impressions, I'm quite pleased to report that it doesn't sound bad at all. In fact, it could be considered as good for an earbuds with tiny 6mm dynamic drivers.

Respectable audio quality!

It is bassy (but a bit overpowering) with respectable mids, clear vocals, and good layering of tunes. Its overall audio is a bit tinny versus the Mi True Wireless Earphones. There's a bit of hissing as well.

The soundstage is not too wide, but just fine.

Its microphone for calls is okay in quiet areas. It isn't just as clear as the mic of the FreeBuds Lite. It doesn't block noise that well too.

The Rock Space EB70 has 4 hours of battery life per charge. Charging time per earpiece is just 1 hour. That's quite fast.

The case can provide more than 3 charges before running out of juice as well. Not bad.

If you need an in-ear type of TWS earphones, the Rock Space EB70 could be an option.

It has a pretty stylish look, comfortable wearing style, and respectable audio quality. It even has Bluetooth 5.0 for stable connectivity and quick reconnection speed. It is one of those few who has a volume control as well.

Rock Space EB70 is far from perfect, but it is quite competitive at PHP 3,999.
