Build Quality/Design - All three phones are equipped with pretty good build and designs. Nova 5T has more striking colors especially the crush blue and midsummer purple colorways. I also like that it is made out of real metal and glass. It also has a large screen-to-body, thanks to its punch-hole display.

OPPO Reno has the nicest build and design for me due to its matte Gorilla Glass 5 protected glass back in ocean green and Gorilla Glass all-screen front panel.

Display - Samsung seems to be ahead in the screen department due to its massive 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 20:9 cinematic screen aspect ratio.
But, if you find it too big and you want a more immersive all-screen view, the Reno with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen could appeal to you.
Those who do not want pop-up camera, a notch, and a super large display could love the 6.26-inch punch-hole IPS display of Nova 5T.

Specs - On paper, it is a clear win for Huawei Nova 5T in the speed department. It has the most powerful chip among the three, the 7nm Kirin 980 flagship processor with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and Dual NPU for AI tasks. It even has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and ample 128GB storage.
OPPO Reno has an advantage in the storage department as it has a HUGE 256GB internal storage.
Only Galaxy A70 has expandable memory though. It also has the largest battery capacity at 4,500mAh and the speedier 25W charger.
Cameras - Nova 5T has a total of four cameras at the back and one more camera in front. It even has the 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX586 sensor w/ PDAF and CAF. Its wide-angle sensor is at 16MP. It has two more 2MP cameras for 4cm macro shots and depth effect.
Reno uses a 48MP f/1.7 Sony IMX586 w/ PDAF and CAF main shooter paired with a 5MP f/2.4 depth camera. Its main shooter is slightly higher than the 5T since it is a brighter f/1.7 lens versus f/1.8.

Our thoughts
Both OPPO Reno and Samsung Galaxy A70 are pretty good mid-rangers in the around PHP 23 to 27K.
But, Huawei Nova 5T clearly bested them in this specs comparison. It has the highest overall specs among the three despite its much lower PHP 18,990 price tag.
There is a good chance that it is the best pick versus Reno and A70 if you want a phone loaded with flagship-worthy specs for less.
