OPPO A9 2020 goes official in the Philippines, quad-cam, big battery for PHP 15,990!

Right on schedule, OPPO launched the A9 2020 for the Philippine market. It's the company's newest affordable mid-ranger packed with premium features.

OPPO A9 2020 highlights a Reno-like glossy glasstic curved back, large 6.5-inch HD+ display, 11nm 2.0GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core processor (Snapdragon 660 upgrade), 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 10W fast charging.

Improved and smaller waterdrop notch

This is the first device under OPPO's A series with USB-C port for revisible charging and faster file transfer speeds.

Quad-cam for less

For the cameras, it uses a 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor with PDAF focus and EIS for video stabilization up to 4K quality. It is paired with a secondary 8MP f/2.24 119-degree ultra-wide cam, 2MP f/2.4 monochrome, and 2MP f/2.4 depth camera.

It also has a dedicated handheld Night and Dazzle Color modes. For close-ups, its AI automatically detects if it needs to adjust the settings for macro photography.

For selfies, you will find a 16MP f/2.0 snapper with auto HDR and AI face beauty.

The phone also has a fingerprint sensor at the back, 700MHz 4G LTE, and hybrid dual SIM slots.

OPPO A9 2020 is priced at PHP 15,990. Those who did the blind pre-order starting September 14, 2019, will get a FREE Sound Wireless Bluetooth Headset worth PHP 2,099.

Customers may also pre-order at Lazada starting September 20 until September 27.

The phone will be available on September 28 at OPPO stores nationwide.
