Thunder Esports Tour 2019 Grand Finals concluded in SM City North Edsa

The grand finals of the 2019 Thunder Esports Tour recently concluded at the SM City North Edsa last August 31 to September 1.

PHP 1M prize pool at the Thunder Esports Tour

Thunder Super Soda along with MET Events ran the Thunder Esports Tour nationwide with tournaments for Dota 2, CS:GO, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. It had legs in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The tour kicked off at SM CDO Uptown in Cagayan de Oro, then in SM City San Fernando in Pampanga and then at SM Seaside Cebu. Winners from these places converge into the grand finals to vie for the championships. The tournament had a prize pool of PHP 1 million.

During the grand finals, there were two show matches for MLBB and Dota 2 that featured MLBB streamers Akosi Dogie and Chixni Dogie as well as professional Dota 2 team, TNC Predator.

Here are the winners for each game:

• MLBB - STI Olympians (PHP 130,000)
• CS:GO - Bren Esports (PHP 100,000)
• Dota 2 - Sterling Global Dragons (PHP 210,000)

The event also served as a grand homecoming for TNC Predator after their run in The International 2019 that bagged them PHP 35M.
