Fujifilm X-Pro 3 now official in the Philippines!

Fujifilm announced the X-Pro 2 in January 2016. Nearly four years later the Japanese camera manufacturer has just officially announced the X-Pro 3 with a new titanium exterior, Duratect coating, Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder, new Classic Neg Film Simulation, Significant improvements to autofocus even down to -6EV (pitch darkness) and 180-degree tilting touch screen display.

At the core of the camera are the 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the X-Processor 4 image-processing engine that allowed the X-T3 several awards including a camera of the year in 2018.

The new and improved Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder builds on the benefits of an optical viewfinder, electronic viewfinder or both with a new high-resolution 3.69M dot organic LED panel with 1:5000 contrast while maintaining a maximum refresh rate of 100fps. This allows you to track fast-moving subjects with the electronic viewfinder.

What surprised us is Fujifilm's new direction with Computational Photography. The feature makes its appearance with the new HDR shooting function that combines multiple continuously shot images at different exposures which results in a wide dynamic range.

Other noteworthy features are the AF range limiter function and the new up to 9 shot multiple exposure functions.

The biggest and the most controversial change is the new 1.62M-dot 180-degree tilting touch screen display that folds out to reveal itself and folds-in to hide the display. On the outer cover of the display is a smaller 1.28-inch color Memory LCD sub-monitor that allows you to display your current Film Simulation and ISO. Or you can customize it to display your current settings, remaining frames, and other shooting modes.

For video, it can shoot 4K video that is limited to 15-minute bursts while you can record up to 59 minutes with FHD.

It uses the NPW126S battery that is rated for 440 shots with OVF and up to 370 shots with the EVF. For video, it is rated for up 45 minutes of 4K and HD video.
