SDC 2019: Samsung Galaxy Book Flex and Ion laptops announced
Samsung unveiled two high-end laptops during the Samsung Developer Conference 2019 (SDC19), the Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion.

Innovative design and features of Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion
The Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion are said to deliver unmatched portability and smooth continuity across devices without compromising performance. These two devices are primarily designed to meet the unique needs of modern professionals who are always on-the-go.
One of the features of the Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion is the QLED Display. These laptops are claimed to have this kind of display and it gives a vivid, true-to-life viewing experience. When the Outdoor Mode is enabled, this ensures every detail is clear even under bright sunlight because of the by a maximum 600-nit display capability.
Both laptops have long-lasting batteries and power-conserving displays so they can be used cordless. Aside from that, Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare feature can charge any of your Qi-compatible smartphones, Galaxy Buds or wearables with the laptop’s touchpad.
Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion also flaunt 10th Gen Intel Core processors for intelligent performance and spectacular entertainment, and Intel WiFi 6 (Gig+) and Thunderbolt 3, the wireless and wired standards for fast, flexible and easy connectivity.

Galaxy Book Flex has a 360-degree hinge that allows the user to experience the device both as a tablet and a PC. It also sports an aluminum body for added protection with a “Royal Blue” finish that is eye-catching.

The user can quickly switch slides in PowerPoint during a presentation, or rewind a video you’re showing to friends using just your hand with the upgraded S Pen’s new gesture controls. Optimized S Pen apps provide powerful writing and drawing experience across the device.
The PENUP community is also accessible for the first time on a laptop to let users easily create and share their favorite sketches. There’s also a built-in biometric credentialing that is powered by Windows Hello for added security.
Galaxy Book Ion
Galaxy Book Ion is made with ultralight magnesium with a clamshell frame and ultrathin design. It is engineering highly focuses on portability, that it measures 12.9/14.9mm thick and weighing less than a kilogram.

This device has a 15.6-inch version that comes with an additional SSD and DDDR4 RAM slot, improving PC performance without the bulk. It features an Aura Silver color, that gives a spectrum of hues at every angle, with a first-rate appeal.
Both Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion will be available in two sizes, 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch, starting from December in selected countries.
