Samsung has quietly unveiled the Galaxy A01. It's a budget-looking smartphone packed with some interesting specs.

The handset highlights a matte-textured back in Black, Blue, and Red colorways with a vertically-aligned dual-camera setup. In front, it uses a 5.7-inch HD+ screen with Infinity-V notch for the selfie camera.
Budget phone with up to 8GB RAM!
Under the hood, it uses an unspecified 1.95GHz octa-core processor. The RAM is HUGE for a budget phone. It has at least 6GB RAM and there's a variant of the A10s with massive 8GB RAM.

The storage at 128GB expandable to 512GB via microSD is quite large as well. The battery is standard at 3,000mAh.
Behind, the dual-cam consists of a 13MP f/2.2 primary camera + 2MP f/2.4 depth camera. For selfies, there's a 5MP f/2.0 snapper.
The handset has WiFi, 4G LTE, and dual SIM slots.
Update: Samsung updated the specs of the Galaxy A01 on its website. Instead of the previously listed 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB, it only has 2GB/16GB.
