No longer just an April Fools' joke! ASUS ROG introduces a 360Hz gaming monitor!

To recall, ASUS previously showed a gaming monitor with a whopping 360Hz refresh rate, but it was an April Fools' joke. But the CES 2020, the Taiwanese company made it a real thing!

Not for everyone, but yeah, cool!

ASUS has just announced a 24.5-inch 1080p gaming monitor with the "mythical" 360Hz refresh rate. ASUS made it possible using Nvidia's G-Sync technology and it is the first 360Hz with G-Sync.

With an edgy design

Dubbed as the ROG Swift 360Hz, it is designed for eSports and competitive gaming where gamers should experience smoother animations in games, improved target tracking, reduced tearing and ghosting, and other gaming-related benefits.

It is a huge jump coming from most eSport-focused gaming monitors with 144Hz or 240Hz and can display game frames once every 2.8ms. Insane!

ASUS said that the monitor won't be available until later this year though. The pricing has not been disclosed as well.

Just don't expect a new-gen tech to be cheap.
