Huawei is lending its 5G expertise to fight coronavirus

To recall, the Coronavirus outbreak has devasted Wuhan which resulted in a citywide lockdown.

China is also rapidly constructing the Wuhan Vulcan Mountain Hospital and is targetting to finish the hospital in 6 days. To aid in the fight, several tech companies like Xiaomi have sent help.

Huawei has also set up a Coronavirus outbreak protection project team last January 23 that is made up of 150 people.
Setup finished in 3 days

In just three days, the team aided in the entire construction from network planning, survey, design, fiber laying, and erection of base stations. 

In partnership with Hubei Mobile and Hubei Unicom, Huawei has established 5G base stations at the under-construction hospital.

This assures that the Vulcan Mountain Hospital will receive ultra-high-speed network connectivity that ensures reliable and fast data access, data collection, remote consultation, remote monitoring, and other services.
