1. R1 Chip with Super Low Latency - Some issues with audio lag has been lessened with Buds Air's R1 Chip + Super Low Latency mode. The R1 Chip uses Bluetooth 5.0 for stable connectivity up to 10 meters. Super Low Latency mode provides 51 percent low-latency audio that is great for gamers especially for games that rely on accurate audio such as PUBG and Call of Duty.
2. Design and convenience - Realme Buds Air has a great design that gives the user convenience and comfort. In terms of operation, the Buds Air has touch sensors for each of the earbuds. It can answer calls or pause music via double-tap, skip songs with three taps, long press for Google Assistant, and holding both sides will toggle Gaming Mode.
It also has Google Fast Pairing to ensure quick and easy Bluetooth pairing. You just need to open the case and it immediately shows up as one of the Bluetooth devices available to pair with on your phone.

3. Battery life - Each of the realme Buds Air earbuds has a 30mAh battery. That makes for 3 hours of individual continuous use. Then, it has a compact charging case that provides up to 14 hours of extra battery life.
In terms of charging, it charges via USB-C which is rare in terms of budget TWS earbuds. It also has support for 10W wireless charging which is also almost unheard of at this price point.
4. Great audio quality - First off, the audio quality is close to being on par with more expensive earbuds. In terms of volume, it delivers a clear sound event at just 60 to 70 percent volume. The bass sound is good due to its Dynamic Bass Drivers and it does not drown out the highs. Switching between game mode and music mode widens the soundstage as well.
5. Extra features - It has IPX2 water splash resistance that makes it safe to use for workouts and unexpected water splashes are no problem. For hygienic and cleaning purposes, it has metallic mesh filters that prevent earwax and other particles to clog and hamper the sound quality.
