Conference on February 23 is still unsure

This confirmation from Huawei came a few hours ago before the announcement of the cancelation fo MWC 2020.

There's no update yet if this tech giant will still proceed with the product briefing or not. Other companies like Vivo, Intel, MediaTek, HMD Global, Nokia, and Sony recently backed out from MWC 2020 due to the coronavirus attack that killed more than 1,000 people already.

Huawei separately confirmed to a particular publication about its plans to attend MWC 2020. The tech giant also highly stressed out that it would work with GSMA preventive measures to help contain the spread of 2019 Novel Coronavirus.

If the press conference pushes through, several devices are going to be presented such as a laptop, tablet, foldable phone, TWS earbuds, smartwatch, TV, VR headset and a car-related product.

There was a teaser posted by Huawei on its Weibo account about this briefing. It will highlight the company's marketing strategy to grow its presence beyond smartphones, sharing the spotlight also on connected devices.
