Based on the company's 9-second YouTube teaser, the OnePlus 8 phones will "Lead with Speed". To watch the live launch live, you may check this link.
Based on leaks and rumors, it'll come in two variants, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro 5G. Meaning, it'll come with the next-generation 5G connectivity out of the box.
The OnePlus 8 is rumored to come with a 6.55-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED punch-hole screen, Snapdragon 865 SoC, 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 storage, 4,300mAh battery, and 30W Warp Charge 30T charging solution.
It'll feature a 48MP + 16MP + 2MP triple cam at the back and a 16MP selfie-cam in the punch-hole.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 8 Pro will be an interesting device. It is rumored to feature an IP68 water and dust resistant body (first on a OnePlus device), 6.78-inch 120GHz QHD+ AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 865 with 5G, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and 4,510mAh battery with USB-C Warp Charge 30T, 30W wireless fast charging, and Huawei-like 3W reverse wireless charging.
For cameras, it might come with a 48MP + 48MP ultra-wide + 8MP + 5MP quad-cam behind and the same 16MP front-facing camera in the punch-hole.
