OPPO A92s with 5G teased!

A new official-looking poster from China revealed that OPPO will soon launch a new smartphone dubbed as the A92s.

Mid-range OPPO with 5G

Based on the teaser, the OPPO A92s will come with 5G connectivity. There is a text that reads 120Hz as well and a pill-shaped punch-hole to house the dual selfie-cam.

Since it is an OPPO A series device, the handset is expected to be an affordable smartphone with 5G connectivity. Seeing that there is a finger pointing in the screen, it probably means 120Hz touch input, not refresh rate.

According to Weibo post, the handset will come with the model number PDKM00. It is said to feature the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G processor that uses 4x 2GHz Cortex-A76 power cores and 4x 2GHz Cortex-A55 efficiency cores with Mali-G77MC4 GPU.

This is an SoC (System on a Chip) solution that is expected to power several upcoming mid-range smartphones this year with a goal of making the next-generation 5G connectivity more accessible to the masses.

The device is also said to feature LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.1 storage, 4,000mAh battery with 18W PD fast charging, 48MP Sony IMX586 + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro + 2MP depth quad-cam, and a 16MP Sony IMX471 + 2MP depth dual-cam in front.

MIIT confirmed that it has a 6.57-inch display, measures at 163.8 x 75.5 x 8.1 mm, and weighs at 184 grams.
