It boasts a bigger display, faster performance, and long-lasting battery versus the previous generation J2 Core.

The J2 Core comes in Blue, Black, and Gold colorways and a traditional 16:9 5-inch qHD 960 x 540 resolution PLS TFT LCD display. Inside, it is powered by an unspecified 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD, and 2,600mAh battery with micro USB charging.

The previous J2 Core also has a 2,600mAh battery. Maybe, this device is using a more power-optimized SoC as Samsung said that it is also faster.

For cameras, it highlights an 8MP f/2.2 back camera and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack slot, WiFi 802.11 n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and dual SIM slots.

The phone loads with the old Android Oreo (Go edition) OS. It measures at 143.4 x 72.1 x 8.9 mm and 154 grams.

In India, it is priced at INR 6,299 or around PHP 4.2K out of straight conversion. This is without taxes and duties yet.
