Letter from Mark Li |
On his official Facebook Page, Xiaomi Philippines Country Manager Mark Li posted a letter addressed to the Xiaomi PH retail team. The letter starts off with a statement about the current situation of Xiaomi's retail business amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The somber tone quickly shifts to optimism as the letter emphasizes that "Xiaomi wants to ensure that members of our team are taken cared of"
As a result, Xiaomi Philippines is providing PHP 3,000 in financial assistance to each employee of all Authorized Mi Stores nationwide.
This is not the first time that Xiaomi has sent aid to those affected by the Pandemic.
A few months ago, Xiaomi sent CNY 300,000 (PHP 2M) worth of medical supplies to Wuhan that you can read more about at this link.
