Earlier this year, the company has already made the Dimensity 800 official, a mid-range 5G chipset. MediaTek also has the Dimensity 1000L and 1000 for more premium devices.

Known leaker Digital Chat Station mentioned the MT6853. It could be an even more budget-friendly version of the Dimensity 800 with the MT6873V model name.

To recall, Yang Chaoying, the President of Huawei's 5G product line previously said that the company will launch a smartphone with 5G connectivity priced at USD 150 (around PHP 7.6K) at the end of 2020 or early 2021.
