Alleged OPPO Ace2 Neon Genesis Evangelion edition press render

In 2019, OPPO collaborated with Gundam to produce the OPPO Ace Gundam Edition that had the original RX-78-2 inspired color scheme and branding. 

Fast-forward to April 2020, OPPO announced the Ace2. To recap the Ace2 comes with the 7nm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor, Adreno 650, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 storage, 4260MAh battery with 65W Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge and 40W AirVOOC.

In front of the Ace2 is the 90Hz 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a punch hole at the top left side that houses the 16MP f/2.4 while at the back is the round camera module that houses the 48MP f/1.7 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP f/2.4 Monochrome camera, and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

Sparrow news and GSMArena reports that a recent post by Shen Yiren on Weibo has an attached image with the alleged render of the OPPO Ace 2 Neon Genesis Evangelion special edition. 

The render is a black colored OPPO Ace2 with panel lining, red accents, and the NERV and OPPO Logo.

There is no information on the full specifications of this alleged special edition nor is there information on availability and pricing.

Until OPPO makes an official announcement about the phone, Take this information with a grain of salt as it is still considered as rumors.
