Globe VoLTE and VoWiFi

With VoLTE, Globe can now enjoy the advantages of the 4G LTE network for clearer and higher-definition voice calls. VoLTE also allows faster time to connect versus 2G and 3G by 1 to 5 seconds.

Globe also noted that since VoLTE simultaneously uses voice and data on the LTE network, multi-tasking is easier as well as sharing information from the web or apps is now possible while on call.

On the other hand, VoWiFi or WiFi calling extends network coverage in areas with poor signal quality. It'll allow calls to be routed over WiFi instead of a 2G/3G/LTE network without the need for any app. WiFi calling is ideal to use as long as the user has a good WiFi connection as it supports high-definition calls and faster call connection time.

Globe also said that when making a VoLTE or a WiFi call, the customers' mobile data will not be consumed. They just need an LTE signal to make a VoLTE call while WiFi calling only needs a WiFi network

No additional charges will be made on top of regular voice call rates or subscriptions when using the VoLTE and WiFi calling as well.
