Xiaomi MIUI 12 global launch scheduled on May 19

On its official Twitter account, Xiaomi invites everyone to the online launch event of MIUI 12 scheduled on May 19, 8PM GMT+8.

Originally announced for the Chinese Market last April 2020 with the Mi 10 Youth Edition, the global version of MIUI 12 will finally be revealed on May 19, 2020, at 20:00 GMT+8 (or 8PM PH Standard Time). During the announcement, Xiaomi also revealed the list of devices that will get MIUI 12.

A recent tweet from MIUI's official Twitter account invites everyone to "meet our best release of the decade. Stay tuned for #MIUI 12, and see you on May 19, at 8:00PM". The tweet also invites you to share and watch the MIUI12 online launch with your friends and loved ones.

MIUI 12 is expected to introduce Dark Mode 2.0, improved control center, updated versions of apps (battery app, file manager, notes app, calendar apps, etc) It will also come with an Always-on Display and new themes.
