The first phone with Exynos 850?

German tech site WinFuture reported that the handset will go with the model name SM-A217F which features a 3D curved back design in Black, White, and Blue colorways.

The back shows that it uses a rectangular shaped camera hump with a 48MP f/2.0 primary selfie camera and an 8MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera. It has a quad-camera setup, but the two other cameras are still unknown for now.

The rendered image also showed that it comes with a traditional upper-center aligned fingerprint scanner.

In the front, it uses a 6.5-inch PLS TFT panel, an IPS-like display that costs lower than IPS screens. It has an HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution, cinematic 20:9 screen aspect ratio, and a punch-hole to house the 13MP camera which eliminates the notch.

What's inside is the interesting part. It is said to feature the company's upcoming Exynos 850 SoC with 2.0GHz clock speed. Other details about the said chipset are still unconfirmed, but it can allow the back and front cameras of the phone to record up to 1080p videos.

It will be paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage with microSD card expansion.

The phone will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C port.

It is said to come with a 3.5mm female headphone jack slot, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0 skin on top.

The handset is 8.9 mm thick and 191 grams heavy.

WinFuture claimed that it may be priced at EUR 199 (around PHP 10.8K) or EUR 209 (around PHP 11.3K).
