Huawei NEXT IMAGE Awards 2020 invites PH mobile photographers for its third year

Leading technology company Huawei invites its community of mobile phone photographers from the Philippines to the third NEXT-IMAGE Awards.

The third NEX-IMAGE Awards 2020 begins

Huawei NEXT-IMAGE Awards 2020 returns for its third year and the technology company invites Filipino creatives to join the world's largest smartphone photography and video competition. It is the company's way of celebrating the positive power of creativity by offering prizes for the most creative images that the company hopes will bring the world together.

In last year's NEXT-IMAGE Awards, over 520,000 entries were passed and among them ended up winning runner-up awards in their respective categories. 

Mobile photography and videography enthusiasts all over the world are encouraged to send their best work using Huawei smartphone cameras. 

To qualify, the enthusiast must be 18 years old and above, the content submitted must be an original shot taken with a Huawei or HONOR smartphone, and lastly, the entry must be in JPEG (.jpg) format with at least 1000 pixels and with a maximum file size of 20MB.

Finalists from the Philippines will be determined every week from April to July 2020.

April 27: Announcement of categories

May 5 - May 12: Submission period for Hello Life! category entries

May 17: Hello Life! winner announcement

May 19 - May 26: Submission period for Good Night category

May 31: Good Night winner announcement

June 2 - June 9: Submission period for Near Far category

June 14: Near Far winner announcement

June 16 - June 23: Submission period for Faces category

June 28: Faces winner announcement

June 30 - July 7: Submission period for Live Moments category

July 12: Live Moments winner announcement

July 14 - July 21: Submission period for Storyteller category

July 26: Storyteller winner announcement
