Huawei Nova 7i is AnTuTu's the top performing mid-range Android smartphone (April 2020)

Following the reveal of the top flagships, AnTuTu announced the list of the top-performing mid-range smartphones for the month of April in 2020.

The list

AnTuTu's list showed that Huawei made it on top with the Nova 7i by unseating the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Redmi Note 8 Pro reigned in this list since October 2019. Huawei's mid-ranger achieved an average score of 308,853 to best the Redmi Note 8 with 291,742 points.

To recall, the Huawei Nova 7i is a Kirin 810-powered smartphone. Kirin 810 is a 7nm mid-range chip with 2x Cortex-A76 big cores clocked at 2.27GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 smaller cores. It is paired with Mali-G52 MP6 GPU and the DaVinci NPU for gaming and AI tasks.

In our review, it recorded a score of 323,622.

At number 3 are the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro duo. The realme 6 with MediaTek Helio G90T scored 291,093 while the realme 6 Pro with Snapdragon 720G achieved a score of 282,519.

The Snapdragon 720G-powered Redmi Note 9S with 277,954 points made it into the top 5 of the list.

The Snapdragon 730G-powered realme X2, Mi 9T, Samsung Galaxy A80, Samsung Galaxy A71, and Xiaomi Mi Note 10 completes the top 10 list.
