Report: PLDT Home WiFi Prepaid Cat6 Modem will be available in the first week of August

PLDT Home has just confirmed to team GIZGUIDE that its new PLDT Home WiFi Prepaid Cat6 Modem will be available for purchase soon.

In particular, the company said that the device will be available for selling at the PLDT Home website in the first week of August for PHP 1,995.

To recall, the PLDT Home WiFi Prepaid Cat6 Modem is the upgrade of its previous Home WiFi unit. The new router is bigger and better. It has 4G LTE-A connectivity with carrier aggregation and has better overall signal reception than the previous Home WiFi model of PLDT.

It is a plug and play device with 2x LAN ports for RJ45 cables, reset button, SIM slot, 1GB LPDDR2 RAM, and WiFi 802.11 n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) support. It also supports all LTE bands in PH including the Band 28 700MHz frequency for better indoor signal reception.

The device measures at 250 x 180 x 66 mm and weighs 440 grams.
