Redmi K30 Ultra with MediaTek chip, 64MP quad-cam, and pop-up cam could be in the works

A device with the codename Cezanne recently surfaced in the code of the latest MIUI 12 firmware. It is believed to be the Redmi K30 Ultra.

The discovery also showed that the device will feature a 64MP main camera and a pop-up camera. So, there's a chance that it'll retain the same Redmi K30 Pro form factor.

Meanwhile, a Xiaomi smartphone with the M2006J10C model number has passed the 3C certification recently. It showed that it has a 33W fast charging and it could be related to this smartphone.

The usually reliable leaker Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo that Xiaomi is working on a smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1000 (MT6889) flagship 5G SoC instead of SD865, ultra-high refresh rate, high-pixel rear camera, and large 4,500mAh battery capacity.

We won't be surprised if this is the Redmi K30 Ultra.

But until anything is official, take this post with a pinch of salt.
