This is a good move since 3G is nearing its obsolescence and the FREE upgrade won't make its users be left behind.
How to upgrade to a Prepaid 4G/5G SIM?
1. Find out if you are still using a 2G or 3G SIM, simply text SIM CHECK to 8080.
2. Secure an online appointment before dropping by at the Globe STore to replace your SIM.
3. To get a slot, either go to http://glbe.co/abs-queue or use your GlobeOne app. From there, you can choose the Store location, date, and time that you want to visit.
If via walk-in, a Globe store personnel will assist you on a first-come, first-served basis. You may also check out the stores with Express booths which give priority to those who need a SIM upgrade.
For Postpaid users, simply request for a SIM change via GlobeOne app, and the new SIM will be delivered to your registered address via courier.
