Xiaomi India teases arrival of a Face Mask after patent was granted!
Through its official Twitter account, Mi India teased the arrival of a new face mask that is "coming to protect you" this October 13.

In March 2020, Xiaomi's new Face Mask patent was granted by the US Patent and Trademark Office. The Patent details that the new face mask has a three-dimensional frame shape made up of collapsible plastic. Xiaomi claims that the three-dimensionality makes it more comfortable to wear. The shape of the support frame can be changed simply by pressing the shaping part to adjust to the user's preferred fit. By doing this, it also. radically improves the airtightness of the mask.

Today, GizChina reports that Mi India recently tweeted a video that teases the arrival of a new product that is 'coming to protect you.' The tweet also said that it will be unveiled this October 13.

It is worth noting that Xiaomi was also granted a separate patent for a Smart Mask that can track breath frequency and quality. Aside from air filtration, this Smart Mask can possibly store a large amount of user data as well.
We will have to stay tuned to what Xiaomi has in store for this October 13.
