Xiaomi reveals first-ever Redmi smartwatch, priced at CNY 299 in China!

Aside from the Redmi Note 9 series that was launched by Xiaomi yesterday, it also announced the arrival of the Redmi Watch in China.

An affordable smartwatch that has 120 plus face designs

The Redmi Watch is a rectangular smartwatch that is equipped with a typical set of fitness, heart rate, and sleep tracking functionalities. In front, there's a 1.4-inch color display with 320 x 320-pixel resolution and 2.5D glass. 

Xiaomi released this smartwatch with three color options for the watch itself: black, white, and navy blue. Meanwhile, the silicone strap is available in those colors also, plus pink and green colorways.

Users can customize the watch with more than 120 faces to choose from. They just have to download the Mi Fit app to do that. It also includes sports modes for preferred fitness activity. It pairs over Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and it's also equipped with NFC.

For battery, the brand claims that it can last up to 7 days of normal use, 12 days with power-saving mode turned on. Charging time takes around 2 hours via its cradle.

According to Xiaomi, this watch is waterproof at up to 50m depths and weighs just 35grams.

Redmi Watch is going to be sold on December 1 in China and they have a limited promo price at CNY 269 (around PHP 1.9K). No information yet if Xiaomi will release it in other countries as well.
