vivo Y52s with 90Hz screen and MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G chip now official

vivo quietly launched its newest 5G phone for less in China called Y52s.

The device boasts a gradient glass-looking back design in 3 different colors at the back and a 6.58-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10, and a dewdrop notch housing the 8MP front camera.

Inside, it is powered by MediaTek's 2.0GHz 7nm Dimensity 720 SoC solution with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU and a dedicated 5G modem with SA/NSA at sub-6GHz support. It is paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 5,000mAh large battery capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.

At the back, it sports a dual-cam setup consisting of a 48MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE (aside from 5G), and dual SIM slots. It boots Android 10 OS with FuntouchOS 10.5 skin on top.

The new vivo Y52s is now available in China. There's no info when will it go official in other parts of the world yet.
