Globe customers in Macatbong support cell site deployment

The firm reiterated that cooperation from communities where sites are being built leads to better signal and connectivity through network improvements.

Ludivina Garcia, lot owner of the Macatbong cell site, told Globe Telecom that more residents are in favor of having cell sites deployed in their community as they are considered "key" for the development of their place.

Another resident from Brgy. Macatbong in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija Reynaldo Oligario acknowledged the importance of cell sites for children to keep up in their schooling, especially now that the government has pushed for the implementation of distance learning.

Eh malaking bagay yan dito sa atin, dahil 'yan, nakakatulong sa mga bata, sa pag-aaral nila. Eh bakit ko tututulan 'yan? Kahit dalawang tower ang tumayo diyan, payag ako roon, Oligario said.

With Globe's continuous network investment, its mobile internet speeds have been also witnessing big improvements.

Citing data from Ookla, it said its overall consistency score in the last quarter of 2020 enhanced to 60.82 percent from the third quarter's 56.83 percent. The area with the highest consistency scores based on all technology is Metro Manila at 65.17 percent.
