In late November last year, my longtime partner and I finally tied the knot.

Since this is a once in a lifetime occasion, we wanted to make sure that we will have great photos and videos—memories that we will treasure forever.
This is why we decided to tap
Carlo Acetre, one of the top and young professional wedding photographers in the country as well as the very creative Phoebe Rutaquio of
Hello & Co. Cinema.
As expected, the photos and videos they took all turned amazing for us.
However similar to most weddings, you won't get the photos immediately right after the wedding.
This is why we asked Carlo and his team to use one of the top camera phones that we are currently reviewing—the
Huawei Mate 40 Pro to capture the BTS of our wedding.
This is not a sponsored post, it just happened that the Mate 40 Pro the best high-end camera phone that we have in our arsenal that we can let our photographer borrow for easy to upload behind-the-scene shots.
Without any further ado, here are some of the BTS photos from our intimate wedding through the lens of the Mate 40 Pro.

After using the Mate 40 Pro, Carlo commented on the quality of its RAW shot, "Tapon ko na ultrawide ko" and "grabe yung phone na to" suggesting that he was impressed with the photo shooting capabilities of the phone.

After slightly editing the photos by adding his presets, he said, "Upon first glance, it is hard to distinguish the difference between my Sony A7iii with a Carl Zeiss lens and the Mate 40 Pro. It was sharp, had a lot of details, and great dynamic range."
Shooting with the Mate 40 Pro was great! Focusing was fast, it was easy to get the shot I want, and it can be a legitimate substitute for a mirrorless camera when you are in an emergency, said Carlo Acetre
Huawei made this feat possible by using the new-generation Ultra Vision triple-cameras in collaboration with the legendary German camera maker Leica.
In particular, this PHP 55,999 device is boasting a 50MP f/1.9 RYYB main shooter with Full Pixel Octa PD Autofocus and OIS, 20MP f/1.8 FREE-FORM Ultra Wide Cine camera for near distortion-free wide shots, and a 12MP f/3.4 5x Optical Zoom camera with OIS for super zooming.
Aside from taking images, the Mate 40 Pro also has the ability to shoot up to 4K 60fps videos using the wide and ultra-wide mode of its back and front cameras. You can check the video samples we took using this phone
