LG announces 2021 InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerators innovations

Ahead of its CES 2021 January 11 event, LG recently unveiled the new innovations for its LG InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerators.

To recap, LG's InstaView technology illuminates the refrigerator's interior with just two quick knocks on the transparent glass. Meanwhile, Door-in-Door's tech reduces interior cold air loss by providing a convenient space to keep frequently accessed items handy.

This CES 2021, LG will showcase the new and improved InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerators with upgraded design and features.

UVnano

LG noted that it now has a refrigerator with UVnano technology is featured in the built-in water dispenser for enhanced hygiene and InstaView voice recognition takes hands-free convenience.

The refrigerators also come with a more immersive tinted glass panel that is 23 percent larger than previous models to let its users see what's inside easier than ever.

LG claimed that the UVnano technology can clean 99.99 percent of bacteria on the refrigerator's dispenser tap with a press of a button.

Using the InstaView voice recognition tech, users can simply say "Open the refrigerator door" by voice. You can also ask the refrigerator for today's agenda and check the status of the ice and water dispenser.

Apart from those new features, every new InstaView product will come with LG's LINEARCooling tech which minimizes temperature fluctuations to prevent food spoilage, and DoorCooling+  that cools the entire refrigerator compartment evenly.

LG Craft Ice now comes to the by-Side InstaView refrigerators in 2021. LG said that two-inch, slow-melting ice balls generated by the LG Craft Ice system make drinks look great while keeping them cool longer.
