CES 2021: Samsung unveiled Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator, JetBot 90 AI+, and Bot

Samsung Electronics just announced its new AIoT products during the CES 2021 virtual conference.

Innovations with a more personal and more intuitive user experience

According to the South Korean tech giant, they aim to create solutions that are flexible and intelligently connected with the help of AI. The brand's key innovations include: Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator, JetBot 90 AI+, Bot among many others.

The Samsung Bespoke 4-Door Flex is its latest refrigerator that showcases changeable panels. This feature allows users to adjust their fridge for form and functions. It also comes with a a brand-new Beverage Center to give quick access to a water dispenser. In addition to that, this appliance sports a Dual Auto Ice Maker that can produce cubed ice and smaller 'ice bites'.

Samsung SmartThings Cooking

Moreover, the brand introduces a new service called SmartThings Cooking. Basically, this is an automated meal planner which suggests meals for the whole week, create shopping lists for the ingredients, and connects to grocery retailers for shopping.

Meanwhile, Samsung also released the Health Smart Trainer on its 2021 televisions. This feature allegedly can turn your home into a personal gym. It tracks and and analyzes posture in real time, just like a personal trainer. After work-out, it gives feedback on form, helps you count your reps, and estimates calories burned.

Samsung JetBot 90 AI+ 

Aside from the technologies mentioned above, Samsung showcased AI and robots that are meant for a more convenient lifestyle. One is the JetBot 90 AI+, a vacuum cleaner that performs object recognition to decide the best cleaning route. Its LiDAR and 3D sensors allow JetBot 90 AI+ to avoid cables and small objects, while still cleaning hard-to-reach corners in your home.

As for the Samsung Bot, it has three types: Bot Care and Bot Handy. The Bot Care uses AI to to recognize and respond to your behavior. It will be able to act as both a robotic assistant and companion, helping to take care of the details in your life. 

The Samsung Bot Handy works like an extension of you and helping you with work around the house. With the help of advanced AI, it can help with house chores like cleaning up messy rooms or sorting out the dishes after a meal.
