Samsung launches Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 5G Ultra, PH price and pre-order details revealed!

After months of leaks and speculations, Samsung has finally unleashed its trio flagship series: S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra 5G.

Capable-looking early 2021 flagship 5G smartphones

Bright and clear displays with a high refresh rate

All three devices showcase a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, the latest 5nm Exynos 2100 5G chipset, and capable overall specs. These devices also have powerful camera set-ups that are capable of super-smooth 4K 60fps video recordings.

First on the list is the Galaxy S21, the most affordable in the bunch. It sports a 6.2-inch FHD + Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels at 421 ppi.

Its metal build includes a frosted glasstic panel with IP68 water and dust resistance. It comes in two colors: Phantom Gray and Phantom Violet. As mentioned, it runs by a 5nm Exynos processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256 built-in memory.

For cameras, the smartphone comes with a triple camera set-up for the rear. It consists of a 64MP tele w/ OIS + 12MP f/1.8 wide w/ OIS + 12MP ultra-wide. Also, it has a 10MP AF Wide front shooter. It is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery that has support for 25W Super Fast Charging, Wireless Charging, and Reverse Wireless Charging.

Meanwhile, its more pricey sibling Galaxy S21+ features a bigger display and battery. In front, you can see a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen 2400 x 1080 resolution at 421 ppi. It has the same chipset as the S21, with 8GB RAM and 256 internal storage.

Its metal build also has a frosted finish with IP68 water and dust resistance and available in two colorways: Phantom Silver and Phantom Violet.

The S21+ sports three back cameras consisting of 64MP tele w/ OIS + 12MP f/1.8 w/ OIS wide + 12MP ultra-wide. For selfies, there's a 10MP wide front camera. This device comes with a 4,800mAh battery. Samsung equipped it with support for 25W Super Fast Charging, Wireless Charging, and Reverse Wireless Charging.

Last, but definitely not least in this line-up is the Samsung S21 Ultra 5G. The frosted back panel comes in two colors, Phantom Black and Phantom Silver. It features a 6.8-inch WQHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that has a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels at 515 ppi. Its screen also has 1,600 nits brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.

S21 Ultra 5G packs dual 3x and 10x telephoto lens

Inside, this one powered by a 5nm Exynos 2100 5G chipset, coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB built-in memory. This flagship device sports a quad-camera set-up that is composed of the following: 108MP OIS wide + 10MP tele w/ OIS + 10MP tele w/ OIS + 12MP ultra-wide w/ AF. Meanwhile, it got a 40MP wide front camera w/ AF.

This smartphone also has the largest battery capacity of 5,000mAh. Like its two siblings, it comes with support for 25W Super Fast Charging, Wireless Charging, and Reverse Wireless Charging. 

The 256GB internal storage of the three models is not expandable. Other features of S21 series phones include ultrasonic fingerprint, Samsung DeX for PC/TV/Monitor, and Stereo Speakers sound by AKG and Dolby Atmos. 

Only S21+ and S21 Ultra are equipped with Ultra Wide Band. For connectivity, S21 and S21 + have WiFi 6 while the S21 Ultra got WiFi 6E.

The three flagship smartphones operate on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11.

Following Apple's move in an effort to save the environment, the devices will come with a slimmer box with no charger inside. The charging brick is sold separately across all the S21 series.

Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 16GB/512GB model will be a pre-order only model.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be available for pre-order from January 15 to 28, 2021. If you purchase the S21+ or S21 Ultra within the said period, you can get FREEBIES worth up to PHP 20,000. Customers can also pre-order the S21+ 5G through Samsung.com and get as much as PHP 13,000 worth of freebies including Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy SmartTag, and a PHP 3,000 discount.

Customers can also pre-order the S21 Ultra 5G through Samsung.com and get as much as PHP 16,000 worth of freebies including Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy SmartTag, and a PHP 5,000 discount.

Also, those who will order from January 29 to February 7 will get a PHP 2K voucher for accessory token and PHP 2K for Samsung Care+ token.

From January 29 to March 31, 2021, customers can avail of the units with zero percent interest via selected bank partners such as BPI, Metrobank, BDO, and PNB. These banks offer no interest rate for a 24-month installment. 

However, they can still purchase using other credit card brands with the same zero percent interest offer for an installment period of 12 months.
