Xiaomi Mi 11 fails bend test?

Last December 28, 2020, Xiaomi announced the Mi 11 flagship-level device in China. It comes with the new 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor, Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 and 4600 mAh battery with Mi Charge Turbo System 55W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Twitter user Yuri Semenko recently Tweeted an image that allegedly depicts the newly announced Mi 11 in the Blue colorway bent to an L-shape. The front and back panels were shattered while the inner frame snapped.

As the Twitter user is using an alias, it is not clear how the alleged mobile phone unit was bent into an L-shape. It would be best to wait for Zack Nelson from JerryRigEvertything YouTube Channel to see if the Mi 11 can really withstand the dreaded bend test.

To recap, in front is a massive 6.81-inch Super AMOLED display with 3200 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz variable refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, in-display fingerprint scanner, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protecting.

At the back is a 108MP f/1.85 main camera, 13MP f/2.4 123-degree ultra-wide angle camera, 5MP f/2.4 telephoto, and macro camera while in front is a 20MP selfie camera.

According to a recent post by Xiaomi Mi Philippines, the global version of the Mi 11 will be announced soon.
