1. Refreshed Design - The Samsung Galaxy S21 series comes with a design refresh. The Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ are built with a metal frame and a glass front. The difference comes with the back panel with S21 having a frosted glasstic back while the S21+ and S21 Ultra sporting a frosted glass back panel.

The camera bump gets a makeover as well by making the metal frame extend and continue to the camera module's brushed metal surface. It adds a fresh, and more elegant look overall when compared to the S20 series. Upfront, you see a selfie hole cutout oriented in the middle-top part of the screen.

2. New Display with Adaptive Variable Refresh Rate - Both Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ sport a new, flat Dynamic AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of size, the Galaxy S21 has a 6.2-inch panel while the S21+ has a bigger 6.7-inch panel. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, has a 6.8-inch 1440p panel with an Adaptive variable 120Hz refresh rate as well.

3. Beast Specs with 5nm SoC, 5G - The new Samsung Galaxy S21 series specs are headlined by the 5G-ready, 5nm 2100 5G SoC or the 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The Galaxy S21 and S21+ 5G comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage while the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has two variants at 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB configuration. These specs sheets are future-proof, especially with the 5G connection capabilities.

4. Pro Level Cameras - Both Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ feature a triple camera setup with 12MP f.1.8 main camera + 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera + 64MP f/2.0 3x telephoto camera with LED flash. For selfies, both the phones have a 10MP f/2.2 sensor with Dual Pixel AF. 

While the S21 Ultra 5G comes with a rear camera set-up of a 108MP f/1.8 main camera, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, 10MP f/2.4 3x optical zoom telephoto, 10MP f/4.9 10x optical zoom telephoto, LED flash, and Laser AF.

The rear cameras of all three phones can also shoot 8K videos without stabilization and 4K 60fps videos with stabilization while the front-facing camera can shoot 4K 60fps video.

For photos, it has different modes as well like Photo, Pro Mode, Night Mode, Macro, Portrait, and more.

5. First Galaxy S-series device with S Pen support - The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G becomes the first Galaxy S-series device that gets S Pen support. The S-Pen was only available to Galaxy Note smartphones and Galaxy Tabs before. Now, you can experience the added functionalities and productivity benefits of the S Pen with the S21 Ultra 5G.

The S Pen and charging brick are sold separately across all the S21 series.

As a recap, the Samsung Galaxy S21 8GB/256GB starts at PHP 49,990 while the S21+ 8GB/256GB is priced at PHP 57,990. The S21 Ultra 5G 12GB/256GB is priced at PHP 69,990.
