Huawei has brought the Huawei WiFi 6+ AX3 router with a 1.4GHz CPU and Huawei Share to the Philippines.

Huawei has finally brought more home networking devices to the Philippines. In this article, we take a quick look at the new Huawei WiFi AX3 router, the packaging, and its inclusions.

Key features include Huawei Share support and Huawei HomeSec.

It is priced at only PHP 3,999.

Unboxing/Accessories

It comes in the familiar white packaging with red accents. In front is a render of the router along with Huawei branding.

Box inclusions

Inside the box are the quick start guide, AC power adapter, Ethernet to Ethernet cable, router, and quick start guide.

Build Quality/Design

Out of the box, the AX3 is a rectangular-shaped router that is sloped from the front to the back. On top are the H or Hi button and the Huawei Share compatible surface. At the back are the four foldable antennas.

Front side

In front is a pill-shaped LED light that blinks either red or yellow.

Bottom side

At the bottom are four raised feet. Two of the four feet are pill-shaped with rubber padding to add friction and prevent the router from moving on the surface.

Rear side

At the back are the AC power-in, WAN ethernet port, LAN 1, 2, and 3 ethernet ports, reset port, and power button.

Left and right side

On the left and right side of the router are bottom-facing ventilation ports.

Huawei Share

Above is the H or Hi button, Huawei branding, LED indicator lighting, and Huawei Share compatible surface.

The router is slim and compact with a body measuring 225 x 159.2 x 39.7 mm and is made of a solid but lightweight polycarbonate body that weighs only 403 grams. The four antennae each has its own hinge with good resistance and feedback whenever it is folded or when it is extended.

Huawei says that it has a quad-core Gigahome CPU which allows the router faster data transfer rates that can translate to less buffering in audio/video streaming and to less lag in games. The quad-core CPU allows the router to connect up to 128 devices on both bands. It also has a larger bandwidth at up to 160MHz. Spec-wise, this is one of the most impressive routers for only under PHP 4K!

This means that aside from the standard networking features, Huawei hardware users can benefit from the Huawei ecosystem features and interconnectivity and compatibility.

Huawei is also boasting that is easy to set up, supports multiple users, comes with a wide range and can pass go through walls, and highly secured.
