Faster charging for everyone, AirVOOC wireless flash charge

Using the OPPO X 2021 rollable concept smartphone, OPPO demonstrated its new wireless charging technology. In addition, it also showed the latest developments in its VOOC flash charging technology. With wired VOOC flash charge, it showed the 125W VOOC flash charger that can charge a 4,000mAh battery to full in just 20 minutes.

There are the new 65W AirVOOC wireless flash charge products that can charge the same size battery in just 30 minutes.

The tech is great but the highlight is the company's global initiative to bring easy, rapid device charging to every aspect of daily life. This may mean that we can expect VOOC flash charge on more smartphones and AIoT devices in the future.

5G technology possibilities

In 2020, OPPO was able to complete numerous 5G trials. Visitors can see a live demonstration of OPPO's 5G mmWave speed testing at the China Unicorn booth. 5G mmWave will underpin the next generation of 5G applications and already features in OPPO's 5G CPE.

OPPO's 5G CPE converts 5G signals into stable and fast WiFI connections. It partnered with Ericsson to develop two proprietary antenna solutions. This allows 5G CPE to make high-speed connectivity a reality for future smart homes.

Smart Home of the Future

There's a spot in OPPO's MWC area called the "Smart Home of the Future". This shows how OPPO's IoT products can make our homes smarter and more connected than ever before. The unique 5G CPE called Omni is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF system. It is the heart of this area since it can turn 5G signals into stable WiFi connections.

The two proprietary antennas mentioned earlier are utilized here too. It is called the O-reserve 5G antenna system that uses the Sub-6GHz 5G spectrum. It also has the O-motion 360 degree technology that can fully rotate to ensure the CPE is positioned optimally. The Omni achieved downlink speeds of 4.06Gbps.
