Sony Alpha 1 50MP mirrorless camera with 8K recording now for pre-order in the Philippines!

Sony Philippines has just revealed the price and pre-order details of the new Alpha 1 50MP mirrorless camera.

Announced worldwide in late January, the new Sony Alpha 1 is officially coming to the Philippines and those who want first dibs could get PHP 30,000 worth of freebies.

To recap, the Sony Alpha 1 features the new 50.1MP full-frame stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor with In-Body Image Stabilization, BIONZ XR processor, 9.44 million-dot OLED EVF with 240hz refresh rate, 3-inch 1.44 million-dot tilting touch screen, and the Z series battery.

It can capture up to 8K at 30fps 10-bit 4:2:0 and 4K at 120fps 10-bit 4:2:2 to dual CFexpress/UHS-II SDXC/SDHC cards. It now comes with the S-Cinetone color matrix from the Sony FX9 and FX6 Cinema cameras. 

The new cameras feature built-in WiFi, SuperSpeed USB 10Gbs, 1000BASE-T Ethernet, and a full-size HDMI port.

Sony Alpha 1 (Body only) - PHP 319,999

Those who pre-order from February 12 until March 26, 2021, are entitled to a Sony CEA-G160T Tough SD card, an extra NP-FZ100 battery, and a Peak Design strap.

There is no word yet when the Phone will arrive at Sony Authorized Camera dealers in the Philippines.
