Xiaomi has just announced the new Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra. In the keynote, Xiaomi reveals that the new Mi 11 Ultra comes with a revolutionary camera set-up that is made up of a 50MP f/1.95 1/1.12-inch Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor with OIS, LED Flash, 48MP f/2.2 128-degree ultra-wide camera, 48MP f/4.1 telephoto camera with OIS, 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 120x digital zoom. It that is capable of recording 8K 30fps, 4K 60fps, ultra-slow motion. While in front of the phone is a 20MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

Aside from that impressive camera specs, the Mi 11 Ultra also comes with a 6.81-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1700 nit peak brightness, MEMC, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Protection, and Dolby Vision. Inside is the 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, Adreno 660 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1, Dual SIM, MIUI 12.5, and 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired charging, 67W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

DxOMark's review page for the Mi 11 Ultra is now live but has yet to have the full details of the result. However, the Independent testing institution did reveal the breakdown of scores for the three categories of Photo, Zoom, and Video.

The Mi 11 Ultra scored 148 in Photo with high scores in Exposure, Color, Autofocus, and Texture. In Zoom, the Telephoto scored a huge win of 131 while in Video, the rear cameras scored high scores in Exposure, Color, and Stabilization.

In summary, the Mi 11 Ultra scored a total of 143. This knocks out the former top 1, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ with a score of 139. This 4 point difference makes the Mi 11 Ultra the best smartphone camera according to DxOmark.
