Inside the box, you will find 2 earbuds, a charging case, 3 pieces of ear tips (small, medium, large) that will fit depending on your ear size. They also provided a manual and a USB Type-C cable too. The ear tips come with a lifetime warranty which is good if ever you accidentally lost your pairs.

The earbuds promise up to 20 hours of battery life thanks to its pocket-sized charging case that has 450mAh of battery. For each earbud, you'll find a 45mAh battery, that gives around 4 to 4.5 hours of listening.

The buds boast an IPX4 sweat resistance that can protect the earbuds from sweat and minimal water splashes during your workout sessions. The buds were lightweight and fit perfectly in the ears. We actually prefer its fit compared to the AirPods.

For connection, it comes with Bluetooth 5.0 to give you a smooth experience when listening to music. When watching videos, we can say that there are "minimal delays" but it's tolerable as you can barely notice it.

We love that it is easy to pair, the buds automatically pairs up with your phone upon removing it from the case. The buds pro also provides clear and hands-free phone calls through the integrated mic. You can also tap either of the earbuds for full navigational control.

For audio, the earbuds have 5mm drivers that deliver decent sounding. Though, We find it a little weak in terms of bass as we barely felt the punch. The vocals were clear and It has a narrow soundstage which is common for its price.

Overall we find its performance decent for the price. If you're looking for a TWS with a sleek design and comfortable feel with a guaranteed 20 hours of use. This one is for you.

AIRTIME PRO 2 is an upgrade over the previous buds with added features and stronger battery life. Just like its predecessor it also sports the same stem style design for a much comfortable fit when listening.

Inside the box, you'll see the 2 earbuds and the wireless charging supported case. They provided 3 pieces of ear tips (small, medium, large) that will suit according to your comfort. They also included the USB-C charging cable and a manual as your guide in using the earbuds.

The main highlight is the added extra battery life which is rated up to 30 hours of usage (case included). And the wireless charging support of 5W input. Now you can charge your buds on any Qi wireless charging pad. Inside the case, it has a 700mAh battery, for each bud it has 45mAh which translates to 4-4.5 hours of usage.

This earbud has IPX4 sweat resistance so you never have to worry about minimal water splashes and sweat. It is lightweight and fits comfortably and it doesn't fall off when working out.

For connection, the Bluetooth 5.0 performs smoothly, pairing it with your device is easy, just take the buds out of the case and it instantly pairs up. It provides crystal clear calls too with its integrated mic. Controls are easy as well through tap sequences in each earbud.

For audio, AIRTIME PRO 2 boasts 6mm, neodymium drivers. There is an improvement in the overall sound department from its predecessor. Though it will need pretty deep insertion to achieve the best sound quality. It has good noise isolation, clear vocals, and a narrow soundstage. Lows are a bit bloated and not tight, especially in the mid-bass. On tracks with heavy bass, it gets overpowering and a bit muffled. Respectable in general even if it won't wow picky listeners.

Overall, the buds prove to be a solid upgrade from its predecessor, providing an improved sound, a longer battery life that lasts more than a day, wireless charging support, and superb comfort for longer usage.

IFROGZ also made an in-ear TWS for users with a more active lifestyle. Unlike its siblings, these buds are specially designed to withstand running and sports. With its flexible ear hook, you never have to worry about your earbuds falling off during intense activities.

Let's take a look inside the box, upon opening you'll be greeted with a pair of TWS that has ear hooks, A slim wireless charging case, and 4 pairs of ear tips (1 pair of foam tips). We appreciate that they included medium-sized foam tips for better comfort and a good seal from outside noise. It comes along with a mini USB-C charging cable and a manual.

The charging case can provide up to 4x of charging which translates to having up to 25 hours of battery life, it also has wireless charging support of up to 5W. It even has a quick charge feature which gives 1 hour of usage within 10 minutes of charging.

Speaking of comfort, the sporty earbuds fit just fine and it does not feel heavy in my ears during workout usage and they don't fall off thanks to its ear hooks which made the earbuds kept in place. But we had a little hard time finding a good seal with it.

They put an IPX5 rating for sweat resistance which is an upgrade over its siblings with only an IPX4 rating.

For audio, the 6mm neodymium drivers can deliver acceptable sound quality for casual users. It had a wider sound stage, a bigger bass response, more muffled mids on tracks with heavy bass. It is overpowering. It does a decent job when it comes to acoustic tracks or music that focuses on vocals. Overall it does listenable sound, but far from great.

Meet the IMPULSE 2

Meet the IMPULSE 2
IMPULSE 2

The IMPULSE 2 is made for users who are looking for nice and immersive sounding on-ear headphones.

The headphones are designed to be foldable for easier portability. The build quality looks and feels sturdy. It is made of thick plastic with a matte finish. The adjustable metal extender looks solid as well and it doesn't feel like it will easily bend even if you force it.

Wearing the headphones feels comfortable thanks to the soft earpads provided. There's also a soft foam covered with leather under the headband to prevent fatigue whenever you put them at rest and hang on your neck.

Speaking of the battery, it will last you for almost a day of use as this is rated to have 20 hours of usage. In case you run out of battery there's a 3.5mm audio cable to cover it up.

Controlling the headphones is easy too as they are placed on the right side of the headphones with 3 buttons that are meant for calls, and volume. Though, we find it a little annoying that the music pauses for a while whenever putting the volume either up or down. We liked that they provided a carrying pouch so you never have to worry about bringing them on travel.

For connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 provides a decent connection but it needs you to stay near your phone. The call quality is decent but the microphone doesn't remove the background noise. It might be better not to take calls with it when you're in a crowded and noisy area.

As stated earlier, The 40mm neodymium drivers provide immersive and acceptable sound quality. It has a bassy signature, with a crawling sub-bass effect. The midbass is not that tight and it cant go deep as well. The seal from the earpads was enough to just barely hear the background noise outside. It got a respectable separation between vocals and instruments. The layering of sound is alright. The soundstage is a bit narrow for a headphone.

For connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 provides a sufficient connection but it needs you to stay near your phone. The call quality is decent but the microphone doesn't remove the background noise. It might be better not to take calls with it when you're in a crowded and noisy area.

MEET THE AIRTIME VIBE

AIRTIME VIBE unboxed
AIRTIME VIBE unboxed

The AIRTIME VIBE's is an on-ear headphone that has Acceptable sound quality, extended battery life, and an Active Noise Cancellation feature.

AIRTIME VIBE's build quality is solid, it is built with hard plastic with a matte finish. It is lightweight and has a foldable design for portability.

Wearing the Vibe feels comfortable even for longer usage with its soft memory foam earpads. You won't feel soreness or fatigue even when using it on your bed for an extended time. Though, we wanted to see more of these cushions for its headband as we find it thinner compared to Impulse 2. Letting them rest on your neck just feels fine but it could be better.

The battery is rated to last you for 30 hours of usage and 25 hours with ANC on. In case the headphones run out of battery, they provided a 3.5mm audio cable so you can still use it. Controlling the Airtime Vibe feels a bit awkward as the controls were placed at the back. You'll need some time to get used to it. The placement could be better, But overall it's just a nitpick.

It offers Bluetooth 5.0 out of the box which gave us a smooth connection that barely dropped at all. The microphone performed decently as your voice can be heard clearly on the other end. Though, while using it on games some of the squadmates described that's there is a muffled like sound but the voice is still clearly heard. We appreciate that they put a nice-looking carrying pouch which is useful when traveling.

The sound quality is good as we were able to enjoy listening to it. It had a warmer sound signature, the bass was decent and punchy, the vocals are clear, though, the soundstage is narrow. Upon turning the ANC on, with the volume set around 70 percent, it immediately removes most of the background noise around but not fully.

It managed to remove the sound of the fan, the sound of cars outside the house but not the loudspeakers of our annoying neighbor. It needs to turn up the volume around 90-100 percent but that hurts the ear as the volume is already loud even at around 60-70 percent. It also sounded better while ANC is turned off, turning ANC on gives a little bit of distortion when listening to music.

But, it's nice that they provided ANC as you definitely will need it going outside. When you're in a quieter place turning it off is highly recommended.

Quick thoughts

Overall, the new IFROGZ wireless personal audio devices are good giftable items for individuals that are particular with audio gears related to Apple. Also, most of them offer good comfort, battery life, and connectivity features as well.

But while most of them sound alright, do note that they aren't the best-sounding for their respective price points.

To recall, the devices are now available at ShopeeLazada, and Home Office online and Digital Walker physical stores.

What do you guys think?
