Moto G100 launched with Snapdragon 870 and desktop mode!

Motorola has unveiled the Moto G100 that will come with Snapdragon 870 and docking station for a desktop-like experience.

Motorola has been teasing the Moto G100 since last month, there were even rumors of it being the rebranded Moto Edge S, and it seems the recent reports were true after all.

At the back, the Moto G100 has a glass-like design in white and emerald blue colorways, it has a 6.7 inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10 certification.

As mentioned above, the smartphone sport with powerful 7nm Snapdragon 870 chipset with Adreno 650 GPU. Currently, it is the best chipset Motorola has to offer on its lineup that should bring close to a flagship experience. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 Storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot.

The Moto G100 boasts a 5,000mAh large battery capacity to give users enough juice for the whole day of use. Charging it to full will be easier as it comes with USB-C 20W fast charging.

The camera department carries a quad-camera configuration, the primary camera sports 64MP, the 16MP sensor is meant for ultrawide and macro shots, while the remaining sensors are 2MP sensors for depth and laser autofocus, respectively. It has dual selfie sensors with 16MP as main and 8MP meant for ultrawide shots.

Another highlight for the Moto G100 is the desktop mode feature. The "Ready For" platform will bring a desktop-like experience when connected to external screens or TV. It also has a docking station to let your device charged all the time while keeping its thermal cool with the built-in cooling system.

The phone comes with 5G connectivity, NFC, water-repellant coating although it is unknown for its IP rating. It will come with My UX based on Android 11 which looks near to a Stock OS.

It will be available in 3 color choices namely Iridescent Sky, Iridescent Ocean, and Slate Grey.
