At the company's Spring 2021 event, Apple has just introduced an all-new and redesigned iMac with a super-thin design, an Apple Silicon chip, and a body with bold colors that calls back to the classic all-in-one iMacs.
In front is a 24-inch LED-backlit 4.5K Retina display with 4480 x 2520 resolution, 500 nits peak brightness, Wide Color (P3), and True Tone technology.
Inside is the Apple Silicon M1 chip with 8 CPU cores, 7 or 8 GPU cores, and 16 Neural Engine cores. It can be configured to have either 8GB/16GB RAM and up to 2TB of internal storage.

The new iMac is equipped with six high-fidelity speaker systems with force-canceling woofers that Apple claims provide wide stereo sound. It also supports Dolby Atmos spatial audio. Aside from this, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a three-microphone array.
Apple has also added new color options for the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad that match the new 7 colors of the all-new iMac. While the higher-tier models are equipped with Two Thunderbolt or USB 4 ports, two USB-C ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and Touch ID included in the package. It connects wirelessly thru WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
Apple has also updated the iMac with a new 1080p FaceTime video camera. The new M1 chip also allows the new iMac to connect to an external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz.
The base model iMac comes with two Thunderbolt or USB 4 ports and can be configured to include a Gigabit Ethernet port and to include a Touch ID sensor.
All seven colors include Blue, Green, Pink, Silver, Yellow, Orange, and Purple. It comes with macOS Big Sur pre-installed.
In the box is the iMac, Power cord and Power Adapter, Magic Mouse, USB-C to Lightning cable, and Magic Keyboard.
VESA-mount enthusiasts also have the option to order an iMac of their choosing but with a Vesa-mount adapter instead of the stand.

The all-new 24-inch iMac with M1 chip will be available for purchase in the United States this April 30, 2021, and will be arriving in customers and select Apple Store locations on the second half of May.
In the Philippines, the new iMac is not yet available for purchase at the Apple PH web store and there is no word yet when it will be available at local authorized resellers.
