One-stop-shop for boosting the online presence of businesses

During the virtual launch, GoDaddy's Marketing Director for APAC Tina Shieh discussed how the ongoing health crisis push consumers to shop online. Based on the survey they conducted, 1 out of 3 businesses was established in response to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, 60 percent said that technology is important for their businesses to survive and 38 percent are thinking of venturing into e-commerce. Also, 69 percent are finding ways to explore social media tools.

With this in mind, Go Daddy launched a product that will allow Pinoy entrepreneurs to make their own virtual storefront. Shieh added,

As a brand, we are a one-stop-shop. We have domain services, professional emails, security offers so customers can better manage all the tools they need in one place.

The E-Store has many keys features such as social media integration, support for various payment modes, options for different shipping methods, chat platform integration, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certification, and built-in marketing tools. A GoDaddy Customer Support Guide demonstrates how a user can customize the interface just by dragging and dropping widgets.

In addition to this, the business owner can choose from more than 40 payment providers onboard including Stripe, Square, and PayPal. Alternative payment methods are available for cash on delivery and e-wallets.

To protect sellers from bogus buyers, Go Daddy equips the E-Store with a management feature with the customer database entry. Payment providers that have ownership verification can also help lessen fraudulent activities.
